Lucca Comics & Games opens its doors to the most "human" superheroes: organ, cell and tissue donors. The 2019 edition of the festival, which will be about what makes us "human beings", will host "Becoming Human: Be a Hero. Donors: extraordinarily human, simply heroes", an exhibition dedicated to the campaign of worldwide social communication for the promotion of the donation, where comics characters and superheroes are testimonials.
This initiative, which will take place from October 30th to November 3rd in Lucca at Palazzo dell'Illustrazione of the Banca del Monte Foundation, is part of the national campaign dedicated to organ and tissue donation and transplantation, called “Diamo il meglio di noi” (literally “We give our best”, ndt), promoted by the Italian Ministry of Health and by the National Transplantation Center.
The exhibition is the result of the collaboration among CNT, Lucca Crea and Ristogest, from this year partner of "Diamo il meglio di noi".
