Alessandro Bilotta, since the 90’, has created several comic book series, both in Italy and in France. Thanks to his long-lasting partnership with Carmine Di Giandomenico, he has published “Le strabilianti vicende di Giulio Maraviglia”, “Romano” for Vents d’Ouest and the ambitious futuristic comic book “La Dottrina”, whose Feltrinelli has printed a new edition in 2019.
He is one of the authors working on “Dylan Dog”, creator and scripwriter of “Il Pianeta dei Morti” saga. “Valter Buio”, the ghosts' psychoanalyst published by Star Comics, and “Mercurio Loi”, the multi-award-winning series by Sergio Bonelli Editore about a brilliant slacker living in the papal Rome, are some of his latest works. He has won awards like the Gran Guinigi, the Micheluzzi, the Repubblica XL Award and the Golden Romics.
