Born in Marche in 1983 and grown up in Rome, Sara Pichelli began her career as a storyboarder and character designer in the world of animation.
She participated in the Chesterquest Talent Search, revealing herself as one of the Young Guns Marvels, and there she started working on many famous titles, such as “Namora”, “NYX”, “Eternals”, “X-Men Manifest Destiny: Dazzler”, “Runaways”, “New X-Men: Pixie” and “Astonishing X-Men”.
In 2012, Sara Pichelli was co-creator of the new Spider-Man with Miles Morales. Their collaboration gave birth the the beloved and renowned “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse”, winner of the Oscar for Best Animated Feature. Moreover, Sara will be the illustrator of the comics miniseries of Spider-Man, written by J.J. Abrams and his son Henry.
Sara Pichelli will be one of the guests at Lucca Comics & Games in collaboration with Panini Comics.
