Lucca Comics & Games and Editoriale Cosmo are pleased to announce that Erik Larsen, one of the leading names of contemporary American comics, will be a LC&G 2109 guest.
Erik Larsen is one of the founders of the legendary publisher Image Comics, along with authors such as Todd McFarlane (“Spider-Man”), Jim Lee (“X-Men”), Rob Liefeld (“X-Force”), Marc Silvestri (“Wolverine”), Jim Valentino (“Guardians of the Galaxy”) and Whilce Portacio (“Uncanny X-Men”), and Chris Claremont (writer of “Uncanny X-Men”), the latter also guest of the Festival this year.
For Image Comics in 1992 he created and entirely realized the series of the famous superhero “Savage Dragon”, reaching the record of the longest American color series made from a single author with its 243 issues.
In 2019 Editoriale Cosmo began the publication of a series that aims to present the entire Savage Dragon saga to Italian readers.
Updates on activities and meetings with Erik Larsen will be communicated later.
