Lucca Limitless
Lucca Comics & Games is the right event to never feel out of place: it’s a festival where you can become whoever you want, even a superhero among normal people. Since the beginning, during the event, it was possible to break any barrier, even the mental and physical ones due to disabilities: you are in a place where any feature can become a superpower and transform you into a superhero. In 2019 this reality will be even more evident thanks to the collaboration with Michelotti Orthopedic Solutions and the Lucca Limitless project.
The incredible Andrea Lanfri will surprise everybody with a challenge never undertaken before and he will guide a super Cosplay parade together with Chantal Pistelli, Loris Figoli, and Nicola Codega. But not everybody is an athlete like Landri. That's why the most peculiar places in town, the outstanding monuments part of its identity and the structures of the festival will be even more accessible thanks to a series of devices that will upgrade access and usage for everybody.
Marvel World Record
The biggest gathering of Marvel superheroes ever will take place at Lucca Comics & Games 2019! From the “Avengers” to the “X-Men”, from the “Fantastic Four” to the entire “Spider-Man” universe, every superhero – as a tribute to the unforgettable and legendary Stan Lee – will come in Lucca for the biggest gathering ever. The aim is to reach the number of 500 cosplayers. No limits nor diversities: anybody can be a superhero for one day at Lucca Comics & Games. The appointment is for Saturday 2 November at 3 p.m. in Piazza San Michele.
We Love You 3000
In collaboration with Marvel Cosplay Italia, the biggest Italian community dedicated to the Marvel Universe, we're organising a great flash mob with superheroes from each and every saga. Cosplayers can take part in it, but also anybody with a distinctive symbol of their favourite character (e.g.: the mask). The gathering will take place on Saturday 2 November, right after the Marvel World Record. 3000, quoting the famous Tony Stark's – aka Iron Man – line from the last “Avengers” movie; 3000, as the characters who will be gathering in Lucca for this incredible event; 3000, as how much the Cosplay Community loves the biggest pop-culture event in the world: Lucca Comics & Games.

The suggestive “parades” brighting up the events' calendar of Lucca Comics & Games create an incredible atmosphere: from “The Lord of the Rings” characters, to the famous ones of “Assassin's Creed“; from the acclaimed “The Witcher” by Andrzej Sapkowski, to the Westeros world of “Games of Thrones”. But also the cult appointments most-awaited from the fans: the Star Wars universe parade arranged by 501° Italica/Rebel Legion, and the dark DC universe, which will celebrate Batman's 80th anniversary with a special parade you don't want to miss. And last but not least: the groups of “Doctor Who”, “Saint Seiya”, “Naruto”, “Dragonball” and the Disney princesses. All the communities will gather to create an unprecedented show!
