“JoJo Week” Stage 6: Lucca Crusaders – Confirmed
We did it! The genious behind JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Hirohiko Araki, is finally coming to the greatest comic convention of Italy, i.e. Lucca Comics & Games. Thanks to our partner Star Comics, Araki will join us in Lucca to say hi to all his fans! Therefore, this year the “JoJo Day” has turned into the “JoJo Week”, rich in events dedicated to the timeless masterpiece of our beloved sensei.
JoJo Pose Academy
The event will kick off on October 31st in the evocative setting of the Church of San Francesco (located in the Japan Town area). During the traditional showcase, the most stylish and bizarre poses from the series will be emulated by all participants, alongside cosplayers from our Italian community.
In order to take part in this event, all participants are required to show their tickets and bracelets.
The “Steel Ball Run” Parade and the “On the Palm of the Devil” RPG
Act Two will take place on Friday 1st November with the “Steel Ball Run”, a colorful parade within the boroughs of Lucca.
But wait, that's not all. At the end of the parade the most unwavering fans will have the opportunity of taking part on the themed role play game, where everyone can join and have fun with their favourite characters.
JoJo's BizarreAdventure Cosplay Contest
JoJo's cosplay contest will land Saturday 2nd November on the main stage of Lucca Comics & Games (baluardo San Donato). All the prizes lined up for the winners are offered directly by Edizioni Star Comics, prizes such as “The bizzare universe of Hirohiko Araki “ and the “JoJonium” (Phantom Blood).
