By plane
The Galileo Galilei Airport (PSA) is just 20 km away from Lucca. From the airport you can easily reach the train station and from Pisa Centrale you can directly get to Lucca by train.
By train
Trains from Florence, Pisa and Viareggio are available every hour. During Lucca Comics and Games there will be extra trains, as well as changes to the viability in the train station of Lucca.

Lucca without barriers
Thanks to Michelotti Orthopedic Solutions and to Associazione Lucca Senza Barriere the city will be even more accessible. Find out all the routes marked on the map and access all the mobile devices located in Via delle Trombe, Piazza Antelminelli, Piazzale Vittorio Emanuele, Piazzetta della Cittadella/Baluardo San Paolino. Visitors may access:
- Two equipped vehicles for disables, to help visitiors to get up and down from the city walls from two main access ponts, Caffe della Mura and Piazza delle Caserma)
- Assistance in the former church in Pizza Antelminelli
- Furthmore, thanks to Fondazione BML, all the architectural barriers in Piazza San Martino have been removed, with a dedicated access from Via del Molinetto
