Here comes the Master who taught us to fight prejudice. Because Becoming Human also means Becoming Uncanny: we must let ourselves be puzzled and questioned to accept who's different. Because each of us is an X-Man.
Panini Comics and Lucca Comics & Games are pleased to announce that Chris Claremont will be in Lucca from 30 October to 3 November 2019: the best possible way to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Marvel and the 25th anniversary of Panini Comics.
Claremont doesn't need presentations, since his stories have established trends in the comics industry. He is mostly known for his work on the X-Men universe for Marvel Comics, for which he created characters such as Legion, Black Phoenix, Rogue, Gambit, Sabretooth, Kitty Pryde, and Mystica (to name a few), but he also wrote stories for characters like Batman and Superman. For Marvel he created also “The New Mutants” and “Captain Britain”, and he wrote many other original series.
Outside the comic field, Claremont wrote 9 novels, published all around the world, and gave lectures at Princeton, MIT, U Penn, and Columbia University. He taught at the NYU/Tisch School of the Arts, and participated in TV shows, both in the United States and abroad. His works reached the hearts of millions of people.
Updates on his activities, signing sessions, and meetings at PalaPanini or other places, how to join them and any other detail will be communicated later, but we would like to point out that Chris Claremont will be present every day of the festival.
