John Avon

John Avon is an English fantasy artist who has spent most of his life creating beautiful and intriguing paintings.

In the early Eighties, he has consolidated his reputation producing book covers for Arthur C. Clarke, Stephen King and Terry Pratchett.

John has been working for “Magic: The Gathering” for more than 20 years now, and he is one of the most appreciated by fans, particularly for his Unhinged and Unstable Land Cycles, and –more recently – for his Lotus Field. He lives right outside Brighton, in England, with his wife – also an illustrator –, two children, and too many guitars.

John Avon will be a Lucca Comics & Games guest in collaboration with Legacy Distribution.
