In collaboration with Wyrd Edizioni, Lucca Comics & Games will host game designer Chris Pramas.
The legendary pen of RPGs has signed the “Dragon Age” manuals and the second edition of “Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay”. He has also been creative director for Wizards of the Coast, where he worked on “Dungeons & Dragons”.
Moreover, Pramas is known as the founder and president of the publishing house Green Ronin Publishing, renowned for manuals such as “The Expanse”, “Mutants & Masterminds”, “Modern AGE”, “True20” and “Blue Rose”.
Chris Pramas’ attendance at the event, from 30th October to 3rd November, is linked in particular to “The Expanse” saga. Conceived as MMORPG setting and then reconsidered for a RPG, “The Expanse” has drawn the attention of the public thanks to the literary saga by James S. A. Corey (pseudonym of Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck), which was followed by the TV series. Furthermore, the duo of actors will be at Lucca Comics & Games to present the eighth novel of the saga, edited in Italy by Fanucci Editore.
At Lucca Comics & Games, “The Expanse” saga becomes the symbol of a cross-mediality, which begins and ends within the boundaries of its RPG, but not without delving into the world of books and television.
The game designer and RPG expert will play the role of the Godfather of the Rolimpics’ finals, historic event when it comes to RPG that has annually involved more than 100 youngsters over the last 25 years. The finals will take place on the morning of 3rd November and the 4 first-classified teams will contend the Championship title.
